    Documents Required for Future Generali Car Insurance Claim

    To raise a Future Generali car insurance claim, a policyholder will need the following mandatory documents:

    • Copy of the Certificate of Insurance cum Policy Schedule/ Original Policy
    • Future Generali car insurance claim form
    • Copy of RC book
    • Copy of Driving License
    • Estimate
    • Final repair invoice and receipt / Satisfaction voucher for cashless payment
    • Police FIR

    Types of Future Generali Claim Settlement Process

    Future Generali General Insurance Company offers two types of claim settlement processes. These are:

    1. Cashless Claim Settlement

      A policyholder can opt for a cashless claim settlement if he/she gets the insured car repaired in the insurer's network garage. Under this type of claim, the policyholder is not required to pay for repairs from his/her pocket. The insurer gets the car repaired in a network garage and directly settles the claim with the garage.

    2. Reimbursement Claim Settlement

      A policyholder can opt for a reimbursement claim if he/she cannot get the insured car repaired in a network garage. Under such scenarios, the insured vehicle is repaired in a non-network garage, and the repair amount is paid by the policyholder. The insurer then reimburses the claim amount after the repairs.

    How to File a Future Generali Car Insurance Claim?

    Here is how a policyholder can file a motor insurance claim for own damages and third-party liabilities with car insurance by Future Generali India Insurance Company Limited:

    1. Accidental Claims

      • Claim Intimation: Inform the insurer as soon as your four-wheeler meets with an unfortunate accident. After intimation, the insurer will register a claim.
      • Damage Assessment: A surveyor will be sent by the insurer to assess the damages sustained by your car due to the accident.
      • Documents Submission: You are now required to submit the necessary documents to the surveyor for claim verification.
      • Claim Settled: The insured vehicle will be taken to the workshop for repairs. After the repairs, the insurer will directly pay the workshop.
    2. Third-Party Claims

      • Third-party claims are handled by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal. So, you will be required to raise a claim request with the MACT.
      • The MACT will, upon hearing, decide the compensation amount to be paid to the third party.
      • Once the compensation is decided, the insurer will pay it to the third party, and the claim will be settled.
