Entry Information for Indian Citizens Travelling to Nepal

Indian travellers do not require a tourist visa to enter Nepal. Since October 2000, Indian nationals over 10 years of age can visit Nepal by providing either of the following documents:

  • A valid Indian passport, or,
  • Emergency certificate issued by the Embassy of India in Nepal, or
